Make Meal Planning Easier

Get together with your family members and have each person write down five of his or her favorite main dish meals. When you're ready to plan your meals each week, simply choose at least one meal from everyone's list.

Your family will feel like they each have a say in 'what's for dinner.'

It's a fair way to ensure everyone gets one of his or her favorite meals at least once a week, and it will make meal planning easier for you.


Rack Them

The wall space behind most kitchen countertops is often neglected. But when used wisely, you could use the wall to increase your kitchen storage space.

For instance, if you install a rack or wall grid there, you could hang your cooking utensils, just like many professional chefs do.

Another idea is to install a few hooks, and hang your frying pans and lids. Why take up all of your cabinet space to store these items, when you could leave them within quick reach whenever you need them?

Do you have enough space to put in a wall shelf? If so, you might find some new space to store dish washing items, potted spices or cookbooks.

With a little bit of thought and creativity, you can find space you never knew you had!
