Is MonaVie juice really a super food?
By Christina | March 16, 2008
I heard about MonaVie juice a year or three ago and although I think it tastes pretty good I am not necessarily here to tout its amazing illness preventing benefits beyond what fruits and antioxidants are capable of. A friend of mine had just become a rep for MonaVie and because I am a trainer who truly believes in health and wellness and with a good amount of contacts, he thought I would do fantastically if I became a rep in his team (pyramid). He came to my place of work to tell me how much money I could make and how truly wonderful this miracle drink loaded with the juice of the acai was. He then pulled out a thermo-bag and a little shot size disposable cup so I could really experience the amazing power in a bottle for myself.
Okay, it tasted good but life altering? I didn’t want to burst his bubble so I agreed, “yeah, I feel amazing already.” However, I am not given to jumping on any band-wagons and am skeptical of these “buy your own product and sell from that” programs. I have been hearing about the miraculous blue green algae super food, the magnets that fix all your body ailments, the Amway get rich quick selling concepts and to me this is just another one of those tactics to push a product.
Does MonaVie taste good? Yes. Does MonaVie have antioxidants? Probably. Do I think $160 a month for a constant supply of juice is excessive and a bit of a scam? Definitely!
Might I be wrong? Sure but I have the right to share my opinions and I have certainly heard of enough the next great thing to be skeptical of this one.

Super Blue Green Algae is the real thing; however, many do not fully realize the benefits of the “miracle” food. I challenge anyone to visit our website and learn the truth. This product harvesting company has been in business to serve for more than 25 years.
The first things you may notice is how nice your nails, hair & skin look after about 3 months of consuming these products on a daily basis. I personally have been consuming the products for more than 15 years.
The truth is out there

You can find several acai related products and supplements at http://acaistore.blogspot.com for cheaper than $160 a month and you don’t have to deal with MLM.

It’s not $160 or a scam. It’s simply a convenient way to get your fruits which most are lacking in their diet. I have over 30 testimonies on how this product has helped people with their health. Not just stories….actual bloodwork too. Good nutrition is important and you could never eat or afford all of the fruits on their own on a daily basis.

I agree that you have a right to your own opinion, and yes we thought it was a bit expensive also. Some friends of ours at church shared some MonaVie with us last April and we started drinking it on a consistent basis. Our 23 year old daughter has had TMJ & migraine headaches since she was 14 yrs. old, she was on 2 heavy medications for the pain. Since the end of April 2007 she has not had one migraine headache nor has she had any pain from her TMJ, and has not taken any drug for these symptoms. Monavie cannot heal or cure anything , but, what it has done for our entire family, my wife,me, & 3 daughters is almost beyond belief. Yes, we thought this was pretty expensive at first, but after the results we have had with Monavie, it really is pretty cheap compared to all the drugs out there that are supposed to help with all of our aches & pains.
Oh, one last thought Monavie is also healthy for you!!!!
If you would like to do some research, instead of listening to heresay, go to http://www.monavie.com

I am a distributor, so I know my opinion is biased, but that doesn’t negate what eating better nutrients has done for my family and friends. We’re careful never to claim it’s medicine, or a cure, or anything BUT a food product. Like building a model with half the pieces missing, our bodies cannot heal themselves as they were meant to without the proper building blocks. As toxins in our world increase, so does our need for phytonutrients, flavonoids, antioxidants, and omega oils. All these are found in the Monavie juice, plus glucosamine for joints.
Without the hype, seriously, I was spending $40/month on glucosamine alone for 2 of us, another $30/month for Omegas, plus buying organic fruits with lower anti-oxidant, free-radical fighting abilities. Now I get it in just a few ounces a day of Monavie - and I pay wholesale for it - so although it’s not cheap, it isn’t any more expensive than what we were already buying. It’s the same, but more convenient.
As for the MLM side of it, we don’t sell it unless people order off our website, we don’t push it, we’re not salespeople, and we make hundreds of dollars a month ONLY if we help OTHERS reach their goals.

When Christina stated she agreed with her friend only because she did not want to burst his bubble and she said yeah….that disqualified her opinion.
If she says yes due to friendship and she otherwise would not of then the integrity there does not warrant her opinion to the masses to be credential. If you would not speak truth to a friend would you be true to the ones you write your opinion to that you have no accountability to. Be careful to speak advice to those who are searching for true help only if you know that you know that what you are saying is substantiated.

You are entitled to your opinions but you should get your facts straight. Mona Vie is not a Pyramid or a get rich quick scheme.
Pyramids are illegal first of all. The company YOU work for is technically a pyramid. You will never, ever make any more money than your supervisor or upper level managers. YOUR company is making millions off of YOU while you get paid pennies on the dollar. Now, thats the biggest scam yet! While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I suggest you make an informational opinion based on facts, not some biased opinion. It takes guts and courgage to look beyond heresay.
The good news is that we all have a choice in life. If you choose to work until you die, remain in debt, have limited time with the family, than that sounds like a great plan. Just remember, not everything in life is a scam. Millions of people are benefiting from Mona Vie, with or without you. Should you ever decide to be part of a great family of people who all care about one another, you couldnt go wrong by investing your time in a Company that will be around for a long time.

Just a thought! If we were capable of getting the nutrients from our daily diet and it was good wholesome quality produce, we would not need juice like Mona Vie, but the reality is YOU CAN’T!!! Pesticides, poor soil quality and lack of time and effort make this virtually impossible. Unless, gee maybe we could find a product that helps us get what we need! Mona Vie works, and as for the business side, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. It’s an opportunity to make an income while being Healthy and helping other people do the same. Now there’s a concept. Before you bash, get a clue by doing the research. Not all MLM’s are bad. John above said it well!! If you don’t know about a product, decline to form an opinion. Don’t prejudge by what you think something is. You may be surprised just how far off base you really are.
P.S. Try eating 19 pieces of fruit the size of your fist on a daily basis and see if you can manage??!!!!
Oh or we could ingest man made chemicals that are labeled as VITAMINS and see how much we can fill the toilet with since most come out without really digesting anyway.

Im gonna agree with countryboy, you see the rightful owner of this blog . You might be right bout how expensive is this product and is probably not really effective to you as i can see you are a very healthy person . But do you actually know how many fruits are there in this “monavie” 19 fruits . If you think is expensive , why not you do this experiment . Buy these 19 fruits , wash it ripe it serve it 3 times a day . Some were not even available in your country . How much would that cost compare to a bottle of Monavie? btw do click on me to know more about it. you can contact my email if thats anything you would like to question.

I have many friends are MonaVie distributor, they also invited me to join their group. First, they explained all the wonderful things about MonaVie juice and the company, then they started talking about the profit distribution. One of my friends, who is the speaker of the group meeting explained, “We are making money from the MLM structure, we are not here to sell juice!” That just totally stunned me. Besides that, all the MonaVie facts/stories were from MonaVie companies. I never found any other independent source that verified MonaVie juice has the kind of nutrients as they claim, and I never found any other independent source reported about MonaVie’s acai berry story. The blogger only claimed one point, that is spend $160/month is not worthy. That is really a personal opinion, if anyone makes Bill Gate’s money, $160 is just a hair. Especially MonaVie is not a medicine and no guarantee for any results, simply from an economical point of view, it is just TOO EXPENSIVE for a average income family to consume.
