Chakra Yoga Sequence

Tonight I return to teaching yoga and I am thrilled. It’s been six months since my last yoga class - being pregnant made the power yoga, heated yoga and other styles I lead difficult to do. Everytime I woke up last night with the baby to change and feed her I thought about the series I would do tonight and here is what I decided.
I will do a chakra (energy center) clearing class tonight to start the year as well as my new job at Crunch Fitness in South Beach.

- Standing Head to Knee
- Mountain
- Standing Camel
- Warrior 1,2,3
- High Lunge
- Split
- Triangle
- Revolving Triangle
- Cobra
- Pigeon
- Camel
- Shoulder Stand
- Fish
- Seated Head to Knee
- Savasana
As you might see, if you know yoga poses, this series takes you from base to crown or foot to head so that energy can be opened and released from dense or slow vibrating energy to lighter, faster energy.
