2008 Fad: Bead Diet

Have you heard of the bead diet?  Have you seen the new beaded bracelets?  These two trends are actually one trend.  The beaded diet is a calorie counting diet/ bracelet that helps you count how many calories you are consuming. If your goal is to eat 1,200 calories you slide 12 beads onto one string and as you eat each 100 calories, you slide a bead.  When the beads are all moved, you are done eating for the day.  You can eat whatever you like just stop when the beads are gone.  These beads should be popping up all over Hollywood in the net few months, just like the Kabbalah red string had.
