Today is Canada Day! It’s a great excuse to make a simple Maple syrup sundae for dessert this evening. All you need is 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream, topped with slivered almonds and maple syrup.

Take current photos of your pets today. Dogs are fearful of firework displays and often runaway. Current photos will help if you ever need to search for your pets.

Happy 4th of July. Today is Independence day, go to you local park to view the fireworks display. Make sure your pets are well secured with plenty of drinking water and food.

Remove stubborn odors in your fridge or car by placing a saucer with a cotton ball dampened with *pure vanilla extract. This sweet scented trick has been purported to even remove skunk odors. Please keep out of reach of children as vanilla has a high alcohol content.

Pick a room in your house you would like to de-clutter this week. Begin by purchasing a few containers from the dollar store. You should aim to: Sort (does it belong in the room?), Purge (is this item junk that should be tossed?), Containerize and Label (every item should have a home that can be located easily)

Make meals easy, by creating a 21 day meal rotation plan. This creates enough variety so that no one gets bored, but it also takes away the stress of figuring out what to make for supper. Include a few no-cook meals in the plan.

The bicycle maneuver is one the most effective exercise to tone your abs. Lie on your back, with your hands resting gently behind your head. Your legs should replicate a bicycling pedaling motion. Crunch right knee to left elbow and left knee to right elbow and repeat.
