Starting the Home Office Day With Some YouTube Mojo
By Jeff Zbar | February 20, 2009
As a journalist, copywriter and home office expert, I like to share what I’ve discovered over the years.
And that often starts first thing in the morning, with a little jaunt across the YouTube universe.
I write blogs and articles. I’ve written four books on the topic. I speak, appear on TV, am a guest on radio shows and podcasts.
And lately, I’ve used the video sharing service - YouTube - to create my own YouTube channel.
But YouTube also is a service I use to learn about my profession. I search the site for tips on Wordpress and Twitter. I try to discover new ways to maximize the software I use every day, and become more comfortable with social media applications I’m using to build my brand.
I even use YouTube to improve some of my hobbies, from drumming and singing in my band, to training my dog.
It’s a great way to learn more about what you like. And, if done poorly, to squander countless hours.
For me, though, it’s Friday in the home office - a good day for learning new applications and maybe some tips on training our nutty terrier.
So perk some joe or brew some tea, and set aside some time to explore the YouTube universe. It’s an E Ticket ride across the World Wide Web.
