… and what are you going to do to make the most of it?

Will you plan something big? Create something memorable? Express in no uncertain terms how much you love your family and appreciate those around you?

Will you sincerely thank your clients and customers?

Will you write your memoir, or — better yet — your family’s history?

Will you pursue something — a hobby, a craft, a musical pursuit — that will stimulate you mentally and bring great reward when achieved?

Will you take your career to the next level to achieve even greater success?

Will you make your home — even your office — a place you enjoy even more than you do today — by decorating, organizing, decluttering or personalizing the space?

Will you empower yourself for greatness?

Will you inspire your children to become all they can be, whether that means modeling their parents, or doing more than their parents have done?

The to-do list of The Rest of Our Lives is long and detailed. Much can be done, if only we make the commitment to achieve what we can and aspire to greatness.

So, today, three days into the New Year, is the first day of the rest of your life.
